We think innovatively and strategically to solve business problems and strive to move our business forward with practical, integrated processes and tools that ensure organizational success.As the Product Analytics Analyst I you will apply your technical expertise to leverage data for descriptive analytics of the organization’s property and casualty portfolios while upholding the organization’s established data and analytics’ governance.How you will create impact:

  • Accessing relevant data for descriptive analytics.
  • Supporting the product analytics strategy, methodology and discipline by upholding established data quality standards, measurement criteria, metrics definitions and documentation that complies to data quality practices.
  • Utilizing descriptive analytics to gain insight of product and underwriting data matters, impacts and potential opportunities.
  • Maintaining product and underwriting dashboards and product analytics tools to ensure effective portfolio management and supporting the team on the delivery, including testing and suggesting improvements.
  • Developing competencies related to team efficiency, responding to general requests from business partners, and making appropriate validations with the support of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, interpretability and reconciliation of data.

To join our team:
  • You have one year of experience in an analytical role within statistics, actuarial, finance or a related field.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related discipline.
  • You have basic knowledge of insurance concepts, practices, metrics and products, including statistical methods, tools, and the business and legal regulatory environment.
  • You have basic knowledge of claims operations and portfolio management as well as working knowledge of claims databases and programming languages.

  • You will travel occasionally.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
