Job Description

Our Software as a service (SaaS) solution meets the needs of over 500 government and privately-operated parks, campgrounds, harbors, and marinas across North America.We are a diverse group of people; unified in the belief that work can be fun, fulfilling, and flexible!Visit www.camis.com for more information on our products, services, and clients.Camis is currently seeking a full-time Product Specialist to join our growing team.The Product Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Camis Solution is well documented in the form of user guides, release notes and training materials. Leveraging their product expertise, they execute training programs to Camis clients and Camis employees. As part of the Product Management team they attend client meetings and provide updates on product and training needs, actively mine tickets for training and product improvement opportunities, and ensure there is a tight feedback loop between users of the Camis Solution and the Product Management team. The Product Specialist is expected to have a high level of experience and knowledge about the functionality of the Camis Solution and act as a subject matter expert for internal and external users.What youll be doing:

  • Develop user guides, tests, and presentations for all products in use by Camis clients.
  • Conduct initial training for all new clients – in-person or live webinar.
  • Deliver annual training to all clients based on their contractual requirements. Options include (but are not limited to): In-person training sessions, virtual training webinars, training document packages, training videos for virtual training, supplemental training sessions for new features or as requested by clients.
  • Working with other departments inside Camis to gain understanding and clarity on features and functionality as well as needs on a per client basis.
  • Creating and maintaining primary documentation of our software including user manuals, release notes and ‘tips from the trainer’ for clients.
  • Demonstrate features, functionality, and updates of our software both internally and externally.
  • Attend client status meetings to share information and keep up to date on client needs.
  • Triage incoming client change requests and bring change requests to the Product Management group.
  • Proactively identify and share opportunities for clients to make better use of our software or areas where software changes could benefit our clients.
What youll bring to the role:
  • 1-3 year’s experience conducting training, teaching or a similar background
  • Knowledge of Camis’ clients and software is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English is a requirement, French fluency is an asset
  • Degree or diploma in a related field
  • Ability to understand and explain accounts and financial reports. Understanding of programming logic is an asset
