Work with Supply Chain, Production, Assembly, QA and Engineering to develop schedules and lead times for bids and new orders.Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the MPS is aligned with customer contractual delivery date
  • Approve or Decline all date change requests after evaluation of impact to project
  • Track order status relative to baseline and report discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with purchasing, project management, production, and manufacturing personnel to ensure appropriate scheduling, procurement, and movement of materials
  • Work with planners to ensure work orders in ERP system are aligned with the MPS
  • Escalate any capacity constraints to Operation Manager to decide on appropriate actions
  • Attend daily production meetings in which progress of MPS tasks are tracked – ensure commitments are met by department supervisors
  • Be a key player driving operational and cost efficiencies through scheduling
  • Proactively identify risks and manage issues; create mitigation plans with project management team and status reports
  • Assesses capacity and ability to meet order deadlines for different production jobs
  • Establish credibility of work through attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple, moving pieces at one time
Requirements
  • 5+ years in a Manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Proven project management techniques, methods and tools
  • Understands Lean and/or Six Sigma concepts
  • Develop collaborative solutions using business and technical expertise
  • Prior success in implementing or managing site-wide projects or CIP initiatives
Preferred Experience / Skills: Preferred:
  • Experience with planning, production and scheduling
  • Experience leading teams within Operations or Project Management
  • Experience with SAP and ERP systems and planning
