As part of Syngenta Canada, the Program Specialist is responsible for the execution and a key contributor for the development of Syngenta customer incentive programs. Provides high quality customer service to internal and external customers relating to reward programs, including issuing reward payments, resolving payment inquiries, and developing and implementing payment and audit processes in accordance with Syngenta policies.This Programs Specialist position has a flexible work location and can be based from Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB, or remotely across Canada. This position is a 14-month fixed-term contract covering a family leave.What you will do:

  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing, Key Accounts and Commercial Sales on program development to drive the Syngenta strategy and maintain access to data
  • Identify and develop the program redemption process by establishing a redemption plan and obtaining approval for the plan from program stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly with internal sales team, customer marketing, commercial operations and third-party suppliers regarding program processes and timelines to ensure alignment.
  • Effectively maintain the accuracy and completeness of on the ground sales data
  • Manage customer master data (tombstone, house holding, invoice mapping) for the purpose of program redemption.
  • Issue reward payments based on data collected from third parties by committed deadlines.
  • Conduct audits and resolve payment inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide input to the customer marketing team through summary presentations of Program results, redemption rates, opportunities, and risks and recommendations for future offers
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities with regards to program execution, content, and detailed analytic results to contribute towards program development.
  • Provide input on system development and testing
  • Provide training and support on programs and systems for internal and external parties as required.
  • Collaborate with and maintain relationships with third party vendors to optimize the delivery of programs projects
You are someone with:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience of related experience - Data management, SAP preferred
  • Understanding of marketing reward programs and/ or customer incentive programs.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and auditing processes.
  • Strong understanding of data management processes and systems, advanced excel skills and working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and/or Vistex considered an asset.
  • Experience in data integrity, data analytics, data reconciliation and meaningful data reporting.
  • Project management experience beneficial.
