Job Description

Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Project lead for a 2-year contract, located in Guelph, Ontario.In Canada, Johnson & Johnson Inc. markets innovative consumer products focusing on skin and hair care, baby care, wound care, oral health and womens health as well as a broad range of well-known and trusted over-the-counter products.Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Co. and your employment would be governed by New Co.s Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Apply today!We are looking for a driven individual, in our MAKE Excellence team at Guelph to Lead and execute Projects, deliver results and achieve great breakthroughs!Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects through initiation, planning, implementation and closing
  • Establish project scope, charter, timelines, and costs with input from project sponsor and team members
  • Schedule and lead regular project team meetings
  • Maintain projects plans, communication plans, timelines and project status/progress reports through all project stages
  • Lead communication of project status, breakthroughs, timelines, and budget to project stake-holders/management and calls out issues as needed
  • Support evaluation of business development opportunities for Johnson & Johnson, Guelph plant, including preparation of documents, proposals, bids and quotations if required
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Supply, Quality, MS&T, Corporate Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities and Operations personnel to ensure effective customer service during the execution of projects
  • Track input and maintenance of schedules/resources/finances in Enterprise Project Management software
  • Support Project Management Office (PMO-LPAC) to maintain project management processes, tools and templates and adhere to Guelph PMO governance framework and standards of working through diverse projects.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Management, Computer science or Engineering for technical project managers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience within a Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing / Supply chain environment
  • Project Management experience with leading multiple projects
  • Project Management certification
  • Validated working experience as a Project Lead- able to deliver multiple projects, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities- Able to develop strong, cohesive and functional relationships across various functions/departments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerBi, MS Project
  • Six Sigma certification
Preferred:
  • Process Excellence experience
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Strong leadership and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of Project Management methodology and tool
  • Strong work ethic, experience in cross-department partnership and demonstrated ability to collaborate and create strong business relationships across a fast-paced manufacturing site
  • Strong motivating and influencing skills, with ability to gain consensus from team members
  • Results and performance driven with bias for action and sense of urgency on priorities
  • Proficient with stake-holder analysis and change-management
Other:
  • This role may require up to 10% of travel.
