Want to help us in this missionWe are seeking an experience Quality Specialist to work in our Guelph location. The Quality Specialist will own quality assurance with the largest focus being on customer quality. This position includes data analysis, hands-on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and structured problem solving.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive quality improvements with customers by working closely with vendor and production areasImplement quality policies to meet customer expectations and standardsDrive process improvement projects focused on increasing product qualityInitiate deviation records and coordinate / conduct investigations identifying root cause and CAPAPerform internal audits to ensure ISO complianceUse of Danaher Business System (DBS) across the factory and support business processesProduce trending reports, KPIs on weekly / monthly basis and summarize trendsRespond and address suspected and confirmed quality issues raised by internal and external customersSupport Product teams through reporting of quality issues, leading and facilitating corrective actions and by ensuring improvements are effective and sustainable. Provide detailed root cause analysis using Problem Solving Process (PSP), and 5-whyConduct assessments of assembly operations to provide focused improvement opportunities to increase quality and product reliabilityFacilitate the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects to reduce customer complaints and improve product reliabilityMeasures of PerformanceAchievement of policy deployment objectivesAchievement of key performance indicators (focused on Core Value Drivers)Strengthening of DBS CultureBackground and SkillMinimum of 5 years’ of relevant quality experience, including customer, production vendor quality management within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBachelors’ degree in Engineering, or related work experienceCertified Quality Engineer - CQE or equivalentExpert knowledge of ISO certification systemsComfortable performing and participating in CAPA and FMEA reviewsExperience in quality improvement analysisKnowledge of quality tools, such as MSA, Six Sigma, SPCKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001) with internal auditor experienceWhen you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
