You will play a key role in curating the service experience for our valued customers who service their vehicles at our dealership. Your love of cars &dealing with the public coupled with your commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service will ensure your success as a Service Advisor.Summary:The Automotive Service Advisor communicates directly with customers, managing their needs and expectations regarding auto service maintenance and repairs. This role is the link between the technician and the customer. Superior customerservice and communication skills are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.Main Responsibilities and Tasks:ï‚· Provides excellent customer service and ensures ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.ï‚· Responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.ï‚· Understands customer needs and provides them with a complete solution.ï‚· Manages customer concerns and problems promptly.ï‚· Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.ï‚· Completes and reviews repair orders with customers.ï‚· Estimates cost and time for service and repairs needs. Ensures final invoice is the same as estimate and vehicle is delivered on time.ï‚· Schedule Service Appointmentsï‚· Opening work orders and describing clearly and accurately the specific customer problems and needsï‚· Assist Customers with their vehicle needs and inquiriesï‚· Selling service repairs in person, over the phone and emailï‚· Explaining warranty policies and recommended maintenance schedules to customerï‚· Encouraging vehicle service and maintenance by advising customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles.ï‚· Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective mannerRequirements:ï‚· Knowledge of market trends in the automotive service industry.ï‚· Knowledge and understanding of mechanical components of automobiles.ï‚· Ability to work effectively with auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems.ï‚· Basic math and keyboarding skills.ï‚· Experience in a similar role is considered an asset.ï‚· Valid drivers license for province of employment.Our offering includesï‚· Competitive compensation and benefit packageï‚· Potential for Profit Sharingï‚· Flexible work hoursï‚· Learning and Development opportunitiesï‚· Reward and Recognition Programï‚· A culture of performance & accountabilityï‚· A supportive and positive team environmentJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00-$22.00 per hourAdditional pay:
