Job Description

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst, located in Guelph, ON.The Johnson & Johnson Guelph site is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, the worlds most comprehensive and broadly based manufacturer of health care products, as well as a provider of related services, for the consumer, pharmaceutical, and medical devices and diagnostics markets. In Canada, Johnson & Johnson Inc. markets innovative consumer products focusing on skin and hair care, baby care, wound care, oral health and womens health as well as a broad range of well-known and trusted over-the-counter products.Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.Are you interested in making a difference in a thriving diverse company culture, that celebrates the uniqueness of our employees and is committed to inclusion Apply today!The Supply Chain Analyst orders and expedites materials to support the production schedules, to meet customer service goals, optimize inventory investments, and meet production requirements.The successful candidate will monitor blocked, excess, and restricted inventory and drives actions to reduce the level of non-working inventory. This individual also partners with Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Procurement, Warehousing, and Quality to resolve issues impacting areas of responsibility.The Supply Chain Analyst will also have ownership of SAP Supply Chain Master Data. This includes updates and maintenance of MRP parameters, Material Master, BOMs, and Recipes. This role will provide reporting and analytics support as required. Expected to serve as one of the Domain Experts for Plan & Source functions in the ERP system.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and preparation of material plans. Develop and implement material ordering policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures. Maintain compliance with company policies in regards to all safety.
  • Analyzes production requirements in tandem with Kanban potential to optimize material order processes.
  • Works with vendors to expedite materials as necessary to meet the requirements of the Master Production Schedule and Detailed Schedule.
  • Develops solutions to address potential material problems.
  • Responsible for Supplier Reliability results and initiates appropriate action to ensure business targets are met and exceeded. Tracks and monitors vendor delivery to OTIF targets, implementing corrective action plans as necessary when targets are missed.
  • Monitor vendor quality metrics and NCs, implementing and driving CAPA plans as necessary to meet site targets.
  • Supports the requirements of R&D, Projects, Line Trials, and Product Launches, ensuring material availability to meet project plans.
  • Responsible for material inventory management, meeting targets set for SLOB, excess and obsolete. Provide recommendations on how to minimize slow moving inventory and E&O.
  • Responsible for providing vendor and material forecasts, as well as supporting the RCCP/ S&OP processes for material suppliers.
  • Support the sourcing team initiatives including CIP opportunities.
  • Responsible for planning parameter and BOM & Recipe data governance.
  • Lead the gathering of required input data across the functions with the plant; complete and accurate data inputs in regional master data systems and local plant systems.
  • Work with buyers and planners to adjust SAP planning parameters to support exception based planning
  • Act as Domain Expert for Plan/Source functions in SAP ECC and APO.
QualificationsEducation:
  • University/Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
Experience and Skills:Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years of supply chain and general business experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Previous working experience with an ERP system
  • Able to be onsite at the Guelph location minimum of 3 days weekly
Preferred:
  • Candidate should demonstrate successful leadership, planning management expertise, critical thinking, and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate should demonstrate strong multi-functional intuition for business and ability to influence others
  • Familiarity with (local) regulations, GMP, ISO requirements is desirable
  • Previous working experience with SAP.
