Job Description

Looking for your next opportunity in the fast-paced and exciting field of automotive manufacturingLook no further!Join our team as the newest Tool Room Supervisor on our DAY SHIFT!Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for ensuring everyone follows Health & Safety Policies/Procedures.
  • Purchasing and/or outsourcing tool room maintenance requirements
  • Assessing tooling before tools are removed from the press
  • Managing Work Orders
  • Troubleshooting Tools and Dies
  • Maintain and improve Quick Die Change Program
  • Manage Tool crib purchasing & inventory
  • Be involved in Design-Build reviews
  • Participate in production improvements
What are we looking for
  • Education: Certified Tool and Die Maker
  • Must have at least 8 years of experience with tool making in an automotive production environment
  • Must have supervisory or related leadership experience
  • Must be experienced with tool making, jigs, fixtures, weld assembly, Metallurgy, Die making, Punch presses
  • Must have a good understanding of automation, and project management, and have basic computer skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills in order to make decisions and solve problems
  • Excellent time management skills, leadership skills, adaptability/flexibility and is able to coordinate work and activities of others
  • Previous supervisory skills are an asset
