This is a hybrid position. We will rely on you to clear the delivery for all purchase orders and sales orders through system updates and auditing of entry documentation in accordance with customs. You will problem solve cross functionally with the Supply chain, Purchasing, Product Management, Quality and Customer Service teams. This is an awesome opportunity to join us and make your mark on our team and processes!If you are constantly driving to find the best and most efficient ways to get the job done, we’d love to hear from you!Day-to-dayFacilitate Duty Drawback by working closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokersCoordinate the brokerage and forwarders requirements to support export and import into the global marketSupport the supply chain team to determine optimized logistics distribution to minimize duties and taxes related to import/export on the organizationMonitor and manage Import/Export regulations, sanctions and denied parties screening to ensure compliance.Lead country of origin evaluation and identification, NAFTA – USMCA, (HTS, COO, and ECCN among others)Optimize inbound freight from suppliers and evaluate the Reverse Logistics process to increase the Customer Satisfaction in collaboration with Product Management, Quality and Customer ServiceInspect and document compliance with the projects environmental requirements (EPA assessment)Leverage past experiences in lean / six sigma, industrial engineering, or continual improvement methodologies to drive and interpret performance improvements to the KPIsAm I qualifiedBusiness degree in Supply Chain Logistics, ISM or CPSM or CCLP or APICS (CLTD) designation requiredMinimum 4 years’ experience in import, export and Global Trade Compliance requirements or Customs Clearance, and international logistics roleExcellent organizational and analytical skillsStrong working knowledge of Tariff treatments and Trade agreements and CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) or similar Designation (considered an asset)Experience working with MRP/ERP system (BAAN, BAAN LN), but other ERP experience is great too!Trojan Technologies is an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate everyone and their intersecting identities.
