Van DriverOerlikon is hiring. We are a global swiss owned company. We are looking for a Van Driver for our Guelph facility. The Delivery Driver operates company vans and/or delivery vehicles and is responsible for the pickup and delivery of coated products to and from the Coating Center to the Customer. This position requires the Delivery Driver to load and unload materials, goods, equipment between various destinations as assigned. The Delivery Driver also prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation and may be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job. This position also requires the delivery driver to work in the coating center when not driving. This position can be 95 percent driving and 5 percent working in the center. Your Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Safe driving habits and patience
• Provide exceptional, timely customer deliveries
• Handle customer tooling with the utmost care
• Act as liaison to Center Management with regards to customer’s needs, observations, and competitive climate
• Follow the Fleet Management requirements as defined in the company policy
• Maintain delivery vehicle
• Ensure all registrations, license plates and insurance are up to date
• Work in the coating center when not on the road driving
• Obtaining customer signatures when needed

Your Profile

• Valid driver’s license
• Education: high school or equivalent
• Experience: customer service experience a plus
• Skills: Organized, efficient, and safe driving habits
• Driver must be able to adjust to climate conditions as they change.
• Physical ability to load and unload up to 50lbs
• Familiarity with using navigation systems
