HEXO Corp is a serious, business-oriented and socially responsible organization that is building dynamic teams of professionals that arent afraid to step outside of their role, try new things and challenge the status quo.If you are excited to take on a new challenge and are open to getting out of your comfort zone, we’re looking for people like you to join the HEXO Corp family.Job title Security OperatorReports to Manager of Security, RedecanLocation 987 Haldimand road 20,N0A1H0Job SummaryThe Security Operator under the direction of the Manager of Security and his or her alternate is responsible for various security related duties including but not limited to providing access to and from the facility for staff, vendors and visitors and troubleshooting all security devices on site.The Security Operator will communicate with operations on any movement of deliveries or pick-ups to and from the facility. Other duties include; observing and keeping records of visitors, issuing and receiving visitor and employee access cards, CCTV monitoring, loss prevention, investigations, incident reporting, administration and access control procedures as well as full site patrols (interior and exterior).Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing NDA’s for visitors and contractors
• Issuing pass cards to visitors and contractors
• Printing and management of reports
• Viewing and auditing of recorded security video footage
• Using word processing, spreadsheet, databases to organize and disseminate information to other departments and to management
• Access Control
• Site Patrols and GMP policing
• Other duties as assigned
• CCTV Monitoring

Qualifications

• College diploma in law and security or police technology is considered an asset
• In good standing with a valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Ability to act with tact, good judgement, and discretion; sensitivity to confidential matters is required
• Professional demeanor, a positive attitude and team focused approach
• General understanding about the operational controls and inventory movement of controlled substances
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks with changing timelines, must have the ability to multitask and adapt to change
• Knowledge of security requirements for Controlled Substances related legislations, regulations and guidelines in Canada considered an asset
• Knowledge and compliance with Cannabis Act an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Interest/proficiency in computerized systems (CCTV security/access control systems)
• Ability to keep good records, learn new technology, and work independently and as part of a team
• Good oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational and time management skills
• Proven document and information management skills
• Committed to continuous learning

Security ClearanceSecurity Clearance may be requested for this positionThis role is conditional on a clear criminal record checkWorking HoursHourly Position: 12h shifts rotating two weeks days and two weeks of nights.
