Job Description

Part-time Flex 16-25+ hours/week - every other weekend. Location: CayugaAs a member of our team you will:

  • Receive paid training
  • Work every other weekend - 2 shifts, plus additional available weekdays

  • Have experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is an asset
  • Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License - G or G2
  • Possess CPI certification - current or take our certified course
  • First-Aid/CPR Level C - must be current or obtain at own cost
Direct Support Worker responsibilities:
  • Support adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in accordance with their support plan
  • Provide supports for daily living which may include ensuring a clean and safe living environment, assisting with personal hygiene, administering medications, planning and preparing meals
As a Not-for-profit organization Community Living Haldimand has been supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1958.
