Reporting through Fleming CREW (Community Resources for Employers and Workers) serves job seekers and employers in our community, offering personalized assistance to help clients achieve their employment goals and help employers find the right people and training for the job.Reporting to the Director, Workforce Development, the Reception, Resource and Information Assistant supports the successful operation of the Employment Resource Centre and is responsible for maintaining full knowledge of its services as they relate to employment, training, literacy and basic skills, apprenticeship and related community services.For a complete job description, please refer to the document found here: Job DescriptionExplore what Fleming College has to offer and the beautiful communities we are surrounded by. Check out Life@Fleming.2-year Diploma in Office Administration, Executive or Business Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years' experience:Experience in general office procedures in a busy customer service-oriented setting preferably in an employment, training and/or education environment.Experience in specific applications i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, information management systems, databases, e-mail.Experience in utilizing communication skills, both written and verbal, including clear and efficient telephone skillsExperience working independently, prioritizing and organizing and problem-solving own workload within a diverse customer service team environment.Experience providing excellent customer service, including the ability to relate to students and/or community at large, from varying social, academic, economic and cultural backgroundsExperience in data verification.Internal candidates will receive first consideration in accordance with our Support Staff Collective Agreement.
