Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Insurance)We are currently seeking ten professionals to join a client-facing role within the insurance industry. You will be part of a team supporting a well-established Group Benefits business line, focused on delivering top-tier service to members across Canada.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $24.96/h.• 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule: Rotating shifts between 9 AM and 9 PM EST.• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.• Opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Training Details:• A 9-week paid training program is required.• Training hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST.• During this period, candidates will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to transition to regular responsibilities.• Additional training in Dental coverage may be offered approximately 6 months after the start date.Responsibilities:• Manage incoming calls (approximately 50 per day) and respond to inquiries related to group insurance plans with accuracy and professionalism.• Support both internal and external clients by resolving concerns, processing requests, and providing guidance on benefits and services.• Follow up on plan files and ensure timely communication while navigating between multiple internal systems.• Demonstrate a strong dedication to client satisfaction, with a goal of exceeding expectations.• Maintain confidentiality while working from a secure, distraction-free environment using a wired Ethernet connection.• Rotate work schedules weekly to accommodate clients across various time zones in Canada.What you will need to succeed:• High school diploma required.• Post-secondary education (College or University) considered an asset.• 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably within insurance, group benefits, administrative, or contact center settings.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.) and comfortable navigating between multiple applications.• Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong interpersonal skills.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.• Eagerness to learn and stay current with new tools, services, and procedures.• High attention to detail, with strong research skills and the ability to multitask across systems.• Motivation to achieve key performance targets and contribute positively to a collaborative team culture.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
