Mortgage Administrator Work in the insurance industry as a Mortgage Administrator in a hybrid setup, supporting residential mortgage documentation. This one-year contract offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment, exposure to underwriting and compliance, and potential for extension or permanent hire.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $23 to $24, based on experience.• 12-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.Responsibilities:• Prepare and review manual mortgage documentation for accuracy and compliance.• Validate that all residential mortgage documents meet the Bank’s underwriting policies and standards.• Manage documentation workflows under tight deadlines.• Liaise with underwriting and sales teams to gather and confirm necessary information.• Ensure alignment with internal policies, mortgage product terms, and compliance regulations.• Troubleshoot documentation issues or discrepancies.• Maintain clear, organized records for internal use.• Provide support to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor #39;s degree (nice to have).• 3+ years of experience in mortgage administration or a similar role.• General knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting processes, credit policies, and compliance regulations.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.• Proficiency with document management tools and software.• Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and standards (nice to have).Ideal Candidate:You’re a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and collaboration skills.
