We are passionate about exceeding expectations and we thrive on jobs other agencies might find too big, or too difficult, or too fast.Sound good Great, here’s who we’re looking forVERB is looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for managing the customer relationship, providing strategic direction and planning across a variety of clients. They will act as the main point of contact for the client within the organization, working closely with internal project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, following the agreed upon strategy and of the highest level of quality.What You Will Do:

  • Independently manage client relationships and projects, proactively offering sound solutions to issues
  • Foster and nurture a positive working relationship with internal and external clients through frequent, and professional, strategic communication
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts by proposing and introducing new solutions and services based on clients’ needs
  • Oversee marketing retainers and projects (i.e., Social/SEO retainers, Paid Media and campaigns) in partnership with subject matter experts
  • Oversee and manage small to medium scale web development projects from Discovery to Launch
  • Manage overall project timelines, with the support of Project Managers and Account Coordinators
  • Manage overall project budgets and work to find efficiencies while keeping the project within scope
  • Collaborate with all relevant VERB departments, engaging subject matter experts on projects and new initiatives
  • Uncover and articulate research, insight, and strategic models to help advance the business interests of clients
  • Keep senior management informed of project progress, ensuring that potential issues affecting client services and projects are communicated early and resolved
  • Ensure all deliverables are tested, proofed, and reviewed against requirements, creative designs, and strategy to ensure that only high quality products are submitted for client approval
  • Own the final quality control for all client-facing deliverables
  • Mentor Account Coordinators, supporting with their career development and onboarding as necessary
  • Be a champion for positive employee morale by encouraging and energizing the wider VERB team
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing/ advertising industry
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on advertising, marketing, communications, or business
  • Ability to see through process and clearly understand and articulate the vision for active accounts
  • Highly organized and ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present reviews to both clients and internal management
  • Confident thinker and open to ideas of others
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Experience across a range of digital media
  • Clear understanding of website analytics
  • Working understanding of SEO, SEM, social, and traditional media
