  • Liaise with investment managers, vendors and auditors for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Participate in various system improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare or co-ordinate and review all client financial reporting deliverables and associated reports as required.
  • Work with internal teams, such as Client Operations, Investor Operations, Client Integration, Legal, Vendor Management, Outsourcing and BPO etc. to ensure all internal and external deliverables are met.
  • Assist in developing and improving financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Assist with department resource planning and staff allocation.
  • Attend pitches to potential new clients, client due diligence meetings and board/client meetings as required.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationships with clients, vendors and audit firms.
  • Continue to carry out the core roles of the team, including the creation, preparation and review of financial statement workings/reports. Including assisting direct reports and other team members, where necessary.
  • Develop an understanding of the financial reporting process and assist in the creation of the target operating model for our clients.
  • Ensure all invoices are raised and fees are collected in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls, and that all relevant checklists, trackers, planners and desktop notes are completed.
  • Keep up to date with applicable accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage the staff that report directly to you, assist in training team members and participate in their performance review process.
  • Monitor and manage the reporting deadlines for the services/clients that you and your staff are accountable for.
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks as required.
