We are a warm and welcoming family seeking a caring, experienced, and professional full-time nanny for our young toddler and newborn. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, a wealth of patience, and an engaging approach to child development. In addition to childcare, this role includes housekeeping tasks and cooking duties to maintain a clean, nurturing, and organized home environment.Responsibilities:Provide compassionate and personalized care to our toddler and newborn, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all timesCreate a stimulating, nurturing, and educational environment: read to the children, and engage in a variety of educational and creative play activitiesManage children #39;s schedule including meals, nap times, and recreational activitiesPrepare nutritious and age-appropriate meals for the childrenPerform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, and maintaining children #39;s areasFull housekeeping as necessary, including cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming other parts of the homeHelp with meal preparation for the familyAccompany children to various social and educational activities outside the home, when necessaryRegular communication with parents about daily activities and any behavioral or developmental milestones or concernsQualifications:Proven experience as a full-time nanny, specifically with infants and toddlersKnowledge of age-specific developmental, emotional, and health needsCPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtainValid drivers license and reliable transportationExcellent understanding of child development in different age stagesAbility to cook nutritious meals and perform housekeeping tasksAbility to handle the physical demands of caring for young childrenHigh school diploma or equivalent; further training in child care and development such as a CDA is a plusExceptional patience, communication skills, and multitasking abilityComfortable with background checks and providing professional referencesBenefits:Competitive pay commensurate with experiencePaid vacation and holidaysSupportive and friendly work environmentOur family is excited to find the perfect fit for this important role in our home.
