As Atlantic Canada #39;s Largest Automotive Dealer Group, we offer an industry-leading retirement savings plan with employer match and opportunities for growth and advancement to support our employees #39; futures.As the Controller, you are responsible for working closely with the Head Office Finance team; working directly with dealerships in the day-to-day functions of the finances.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing the overall financial operation of the dealerships Manage and develop the Accounting teamReview and oversee day-to-day accounting functions including Payroll, AP, AR, Balance Sheet and Income StatementsPreparation of budgets and forecastingFinancial analysis and reportingPreparation of financial statements Establishing and following best practices and proceduresWork closely with Department ManagersProvide reports to Corporate Head OfficeSome travel required Requirements:University degree or certificate in business/commerce/accounting or a related field5+ years experience in an accounting role, preferably in an automotive dealership settingTechnically inclined, with advanced knowledge of MS Office and ExcelExperience with HRIS is considered an asset but not requiredExperience managing/supervising a teamSalary Commensurate with Education and Experience.
