An opportunity for an experienced Regulatory and Crime Solicitor has become available with one of Yorkshire #39;s leading law firms with multiple offices across the region to be based at its Halifax office. The applicant does not therefore need to have experience in criminal law but will need to display a willingness to complete training and develop in this area. - Training will also be given on conducting hearings in the Magistrates Court and the applicant must again be willing to develop this experience. - The role will involve preparing and conducting cases in the Magistrates Court, the Crown Court as well as PACE interviews on occasion. - The department also deals with general commercial regulatory work and the applicant will gain experience and develop expertise in these areas, as well as some contentious data protection and sports law matters. - This role will involve working with high-quality clients with a varied caseload.We are looking for a candidate who will enjoy business development activities with strong IT skills.If you meet the above requirements and are looking to take the next step in your career please apply via the link or contact Rachael Atherton at G2 Legal Recruitment.
