  • Frontend: Modern JavaScript stack using Vue.js, Pinia and Tailwind.
  • Backend: Python, Flask, Celery, Kafka, SQLAlchemy.
  • Databases: MySQL (Aurora), ElasticSearch.
  • Infrastructure: GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, AWS.
In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of Dash Hudson by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions for a product team, working closely with a Product Manager and a Designer. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes and timelines, along with making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Conduct regular 1x1 meetings with your team.
  • Build career path plans for development.
  • Be an engineering leader for your team.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with your product and design counterparts.
  • Plan and estimate projects, overseeing timeline and delivery.
  • Make technical decisions and resolve conflicts.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Participate in hiring interns and new developers, their onboarding and training.
  • Manage team performance.
QualificationsDesired Skills and Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a manager role.
  • 4+ years of experience doing hands-on software development.
  • Experience building SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with our tech stack or similar.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
