CGI has the global resources, expertise, stability and dedicated professionals needed to achieve results for clients – and for members; that’s why an astounding 90 percent of them are CGI shareholders.Position Summary:• We are looking for someone to provide expert advice and lead in system and applications planning, performance, availability, integration, operations, and/or release and deployment management.Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities: • Apply industry best practices to put a standard support model and processes into practice.• Work with business and technology teams on ongoing projects to understand their requirements, design and solution and implement it.• Promote fresh ways of thinking, provide insight and recommendations based on industry practices and emerging technology trends.• Define, deploy and lead systems and applications activities.• Identify, recommend, source, negotiate, implement improvements and solutions (buy/build/reuse) to improve customer experience, availability and cost reduction.• Influence product direction, foresee issues, identify solutions, work with leading-edge products untested and unproven in the market.• Manage complex deployment in load-balanced, service-oriented environment.• Potentially test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment components.• Troubleshoot initial failures, work to resolve them, communicate!• Huddle with business leaders, technology professionals, vendors and outsourced partners to assess project viability, priority and communications effectiveness.• Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, be aware of systems interdependencies and reusability, focus on seamless delivery.• Ensure appropriate security levels are established and maintained for processes, information exchange and system implementations.• Review, define, enforce and influence standards and quality metrics.• Ensure systems and operational availability meet or (even better) exceed negotiated service levels, report results.• Comply with both disaster and business recovery plans (and help define, review and test them).• Respect technology delivery practices, standards, project management disciplines.• Help develop and maintain issue prevention processes, participate in promptly determining and resolving incidents.• Identify opportunities and put forward ideas to support cost effectiveness.• May develop and contribute to third-party contract negotiations.Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Required Experience: • 7+ years relevant experience.• Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management.• In depth knowledge of IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Record Manager, and IBM FileNet APIs.• Ensuring all aspects of the development life cycle specific to building/ integrating applications are followed while maintaining consistent with overall design.• Customizing FileNet solutions in Java.• Reviewing code written by developers for coding standards, design compliance, adherence to architectural policies, etc.• Supporting deployments through Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.• Providing support and guidance for FileNet developers and framework users.• Designing, developing and deploying on Websphere using Weblogic.• Optimizing data base performance using Oracle SQL Developer.• Providing expertise and support for FileNet and ICN development and implementation.• Advanced and extensive knowledge of the business (or organization), technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems.• Resolving highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently.• Coaching and advising clients, partners, and project teams.Nice to Have:• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) applications such as CMOD, OpenText, and Kofax.• Ability to inspire a positive work environment and help champion quality, innovation, teamwork and service to the business.• Ambition to learn voraciously and stretch your thinking.Required Level of Education: • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.#LI-MT1Skills:FileNetWebLogicWhat you can expect from us: Insights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients’ digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
