Successful new hire teachers by way of term contract who are fully qualified may be issued a probationary contract and will become a permanent member of the school #39;s teacher complement. Candidates for all French Second Language Positions must also complete a French Proficiency Interview (FPI) with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education French Program Consultants who will assess the candidate #39;s competency in French (oral and written).
