Position: Front End Tech LeadLocation: Halifax, NS (Hybrid)Job Summary:Identify right set of UI frameworks, UI libraries, layout and API interfacesDefine standards and best practicesCreate POCs to evaluate tech stack, frameworks and approachesCoordination with offshore teamsHelp team in deriving the right solutionWorking in a highly collaborative environment in Agile Sprint modelSupporting the back-end team to resolve UI dependencies and hand-over to Offshore and guide / advise the client teamsamp; offshore teams in UI best practices implementationRolesamp; Responsibilities:Experience in the design, development and use of component based UI frameworks. Additional consideration for experience working with high volume e-commerce websites.Expert level understanding of the HTML DOM and underlying event model.Strong knowledge in JavaScript, ES6/Typescript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap OR foundation UI, REST, Jest/Enzyme, SSR (Next JS), GraphQL.Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites knowledgeamp; working experience is preferred but not mandatory. For instance, implementing UI rules in AEM Components etc.,Grid, Typography Rulesamp; Branding style Implementation experience is needed.Advanced knowledge of unit testing best practices and Continuous Integration processes (CI/CD).Experience in developing and optimizing large scale JS applications and integration with AEM/CMS platforms.A strong understanding of approaches and techniques to optimize web performance.Advanced knowledge of build systems such as Grunt/Gulp/ etc, including Linting, Compiling, Minifying, etc.Understanding of design strategies for effectively leveraging CDNs.In depth understanding of agile development methodologies.Experience delivering large programs in a complete agile model.Experience in the design, development and use of component-based UI frameworks.
