The primary language of work is English. Candidates who require accommodation during the selection process are invited to contact recruitment@irvingshipbuilding.com.Qualifications:Education:OHS Diploma or certification requiredAbility to obtain CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation.Ability to obtain National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation.Post-Secondary degree in Safety would be considered an asset3-5 years of applicable safety experience in an industrial environmentDemonstrate knowledge of the NS HSE Act and RegulationsExperience working in confined spaces is considered an assetAbility to facilitate training and conduct effective presentations.
