Job Description

Barefoot Facilitation Inc. has a sixteen-year track record as the facilitation solution of choice for a growing group of non-profit, public and private sector clients across Canada. We work with clients to co-create process facilitation and training solutions that are relaxed and informal while being results oriented and engaging.Due to recent rapid growth, we have an immediate opportunity for a lead facilitator to support active and pending projects. The incumbent must be Nova Scotia based and shall be responsible for facilitating in-person and virtual group processes and learning experiences.Our ideal scenario is to mentor an individual who is passionate about moving into an associate partner relationship, following year one, with an interest in transitioning into full business ownership over the next few years as Gerard Murphy, Founder and CEO, explores semi-retirement goals.QualificationsDo you have· a hunger to step out on your own as a small business owner· availability of a maximum of 28 hours weekly· an interest in a 4-day work week, with Friday #39;s off· an interest in a hybrid work environment· a passion for listening and hosting meaningful conversations to support learning and group processes· post-secondary education or equivalent in a field related to facilitation, learning and development, or talent and organizational development· over five (5) years relevant experience as a facilitator of group processes and learning experiences· a willingness to represent the Barefoot Facilitation Inc. brand and deliver core workshops, using standardized company design and materials· a valid Nova Scotia driver #39;s licenseResponsibilitiesa) design/development/facilitation of group processes, based on client needs,b) design/development/facilitation of learning experiences, based on client performance gaps,c) delivery of select Barefoot Facilitation Inc. core workshops via public and/or private offerings.d) information gathering, writing and/or synthesis support to Barefoot Facilitation Inc. projects,e) research workplaces and individuals to identify new leads and potential new customers and bring forward for discussion and/or action,f) represent Barefoot Facilitation Inc. at meetings, networking and industry events, andg) build rapport and relationships with existing and new customers to enhance ongoing connectivity.Is this you If so, reach out today with:· a current CV, indicating your contact information.· a brief narrative describing why you think you are the best fit for this unique opportunity.· confirmation of your immediate availability (as per the above).· expectations regarding anticipated hourly compensation.· any other information you think might be helpful.Proponents shall be short-listed, based on the quality of their submissions, and invited to meet with Gerard Murphy to discuss their interest and experiences.
