They participate on client calls, deliver local SEO reports and insights, and manage and implement all day-to-day local SEO tasks for retainers. What You Will Do

  • Create and publish content on Google Business Profile (GBP), including selecting images, writing and editing posts
  • Create and present SEO reports to clients, providing insights and rationale for SEO tactics and recommendations
  • Audit and update citation sites across the internet
  • Audit GBP and develop GBP content calendars
  • Monitor local SEO keywords
  • Work closely with the Accounts team and other departments as required to ensure relevant tasks are completed
  • Continuously think of ways to improve SEO strategies and tactics and communicate ideas to the team
  • Participate in SEO team training activities and assist with other SEO activities as required
  • Stay up to date on SEO and integrated marketing trends
Requirements
  • 2+ years of local SEO experience
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience managing GBP listings and/or social media campaigns
  • Experience managing local SEO efforts for multiple clients (travel and hospitality focus an asset)
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other analytics tools
  • Demonstrated ability to write and create content for SEO and/or social media
  • Hands-on experience auditing and updating online citations
  • Comfortable presenting reports to clients and able to clearly explain rationale for decision making
  • Able to take constructive criticism as a learning opportunity and apply feedback as needed
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and marketing tactics outside of organic search or local SEO
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
