Job Description AECOM is looking to hire a locomotive and rolling stock specialist to work on projects based in NB and elsewhere in Canada. The desired candidate will have significant experience working directly with locomotives and rolling stock. Serves as a fully capable professional in the field with minimal direction. Applies advanced knowledge to develop design procedures software and tools to facilitate high quality cost-effective technical project activities. Develops work plans and estimates of required maintenance and rebuild work for locomotives and rolling stock for projects. Manages communication and collaboration with full design team. Conducts review of project deliverables from the locomotive and rolling stock perspective. Oversees the development and implementation of complex inspections and development of workplans Initiates and creates project plans with responsibility for preparing presentation and maintenance and rebuilding programs, as required. Prepares diagrams, schematic drawings, work lists and maintenance plans. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. May oversee the work of less experienced team members. Qualifications Qualifications: + College diploma + 6 years of experience + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Ability to travel to work locations Preferred Qualifications: + 15 years of experience Additional Information + Sponsorship for obtaining a Canadian work permit is not available for this position. + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
