Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, this position ensures the cleanliness of the casino and public areas to ensure an outstanding experience for casino guests. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ensures adherence to the Company #39;s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian #39;s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences. Key AccountabilitiesGeneral and specialized cleaning duties in all casino areas including gaming floor, kitchens, and other back of house areas Responsible for heavy lifting including maneuvering heavy cleaning equipment Works with cleaning chemicals and operates various cleaning equipment Provides an exceptional experience for casino internal and external guest s as this position is a high guest contact position Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors and regulators Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directedEducation and QualificationsMust be able to use industrial machinery such as burnishers, buffers and carpet extractors Must be able to work backshift Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures an asset WHMIS knowledge an asset Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must have good communication skills Must be a team player Must be able to prioritize and have strong time management skills.
