Achieves improvements in operational efficiencies and cost savings as a resultCompetitive BidsSupport the execution of end-to-end competitive bid process for strategic plansSupplier Relationship ManagementDevelops and maintains effective relationships with suppliersSupplier Contractual AgreementsDevelops, implements, amends and monitors supplier contractual agreementsStrategic Sourcing Best Practicesamp; Industry TrendsMaintains in-depth and current category knowledge as well as knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trends Provides category and strategic sourcing subject matter expertiseVendor Qualificationamp; Set-Up ProcessReviews and approves vendor set up requests and vendor information changes Perform Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligencePurchase Order AdministrationReviews requests and process purchase orders Prepare, send and file Purchase Orders on a daily basis meeting established quality standards. Responsible for daily maintenance of existing Purchase Orders.SupportUtilize standard templates for all strategic sourcing activity including but not limited to RFx templates, contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreements Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Processes and Work Instructions Support Procurement team members as requiredOtherOther duties and special projects as assignedKNOWLEDGEamp; SKILLSUniversity graduation or professional certification 3-5 years of relevant work experience Knowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices.Maintains current knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to assist in the development and execution of supplier contract agreements Advanced analytical and problem solving skills Computer proficiency in MS Office applications.Ability to quickly learn proprietary databases Ability to build and manage relationships with various stakeholders Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction High degree of business ethics and accountability High degree of client service orientation Tenacity to overcome challenges to deliver on commitments Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Good English communication skills both verbal and written Facilities Management/ Property Management experience, an asset French language proficiency, an assetLicenses and/or Professional AccreditationPartial completion of Supply Chain Management Professional Designation from Purchasing Management Association of Canada, or equivalent, an assetAt BGIS we believe that diversity and inclusion is a key business driver, such that we never lose sight of its importance as it is woven into the fabric of our organization.
