Job Description

Festo Didactic Ltd markets technical learning systems to educational institutions, training centers and industrial companies worldwide. Our team designs and produces training equipment and multimedia courses to develop the practical skills of students and workers in fields such as factory automation, electrical power, instrumentation and process control, electronics, industrial trades and more. Festo Didactic Ltd is part of the Festo Group, a world leader in industrial automation and technical training.Reporting to the Canadian Sales Manager, the Sales Representative plays a key role in defining and implementing our sales strategy for our products in the Eastern Canada territory.Your main challenges will be :

  • Define and implement local sales and marketing strategy as part of Festo Didactic #39;s corporate strategy;
  • Establish and develop partnerships with educational institutions and industrial companies to promote Festo Didactic products;
  • Analyze the market potential of Eastern Canada to find new customers and analyze the needs of existing customers to identify new sales opportunities;
  • Frequently negotiate contracts, prices and respond to calls for tender;
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Analyze market trends in the education sector and determine their impact in order to adjust sales strategy.
Are you interested in this challengeHere are the required skills :
  • More than 5 years #39; sales experience in electrical and electronic technologies;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English (daily communication with English- and French-speaking customers);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Good influencing and negotiating skills;
  • Available to travel within the territory covered (30% of the time).
