We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.As a Specialist, Debt Solutions your responsibilities will include:Assisting the firm in the development and growth of its existing insolvency practice in the your community and surrounding areas Responding promptly to initial contact from debtors by telephone, email, etc. Conducting initial interviews and meetings with debtors, including doing the sign up Timely follow up on potential debtors Input debtor documentation and workbook into Ascend and prepare sign up documents Review files for comparison and appropriateness Ensure full compliance with the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and directives in the delivery of service Building positive working relationships with debtors, referral sources, the Office of Superintendent (OSB) and all other stakeholders Assess clients’ budget plans and financial goals Deliver an excellent and empathetic experience for the clients Communicating with clients, creditors and other third parties Monitor the status and progress of debt relief options and filingsBe Grant Thornton If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking.
