Job Description

Company Overview We are a growing company owned by a journeyman welder who understands the challenging environments you work in. If you #39;ve been looking for a fair and respectful employer where you are supported to do your best work, grow in your trade, and enhance your skills, we #39;d like to talk to you!We have multiple projects on-going at any one time.Additionally, we sub-contract employees to client #39;s job sites where we have our supervisors on-site to support our workers.Job sites vary fromfabrication, industrial and marine. We currently have opportunities in Halifax and throughout Nova Scotia.Our fabrication shop in Pictou, NS has over 40 qualified welding procedures within the CWB, ASMEamp; DNV codes. Our modern production facility combined with the strategic partnerships we have formed across Atlantic Canada ensures we can fabricate a wide variety of highly complex turnkey products to suit any project #39;s requirements. We provide custom fabrications and replacement parts in carbon steel, aluminumamp; stainless grades.Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety rules and precautions at all times
  • Recognize hazards associated with each work environment
  • Reading blueprints (including isometric)
  • Layout
  • Cutting (zip cut and torch)
  • Fire watch
  • Tank watch
Qualifications
  • Red Seal/Journeyperson certification
  • 3rd/4th year apprentices welcome to apply
  • Able to pass government of Canada security clearance
  • Able to pass Controlled Goods Clearance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Well developed communication skills
  • Customer service orientated
