Job Description

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home-based and community-setting services.Great news! CTG is growing and we’re committed to adding more dedicated healthcare workers to provide home and community care services to the locations we serve. To help us reach this goal we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant, Healthcare Projects to join our team.Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Consultant, Healthcare Project will take on the unique role of identifying potential candidates who specialize in Community Continuing Care and other roles connected to our Bridge Shelter Program. This role is all about building engagement and providing a white-glove personalized experience to candidates across various business lines.This is a 5-month in-office based contract at our Halifax office.What you #39;ll be doing:

  • You are recruitment. You have complete ownership of the recruitment cycle from intake, sourcing, interviewing, providing offers, and onboarding the new hire until their first day.
  • You build relationships. You will be supporting internal stakeholders to deliver their talent acquisition needs while providing recruitment advice and guidance to hiring managers.
  • You are candidate-centric, you are CTG #39;s Brand Ambassador and are committed to providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience in everything that you do.
  • You are agile. CTG is a fast-paced environment, and our Talent Acquisition Consultants have a strong sense of urgency. To meet our deliverables, you are not afraid to take risks and learn to pivot to attract and hire the right candidate for the right role.

  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment preferably within the healthcare industry. A strong focus on sourcing processes, procedures, and tools is ideal
  • Building on Brand Awareness comes second nature to you. Use different avenues like social media to promote CTG and connect with candidates
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish rapport with candidates and stakeholders
  • You are curious and don #39;t settle for the status quo. You constantly look for ways to strengthen and improve your craft as a talent acquisition specialist. You don #39;t settle for anything less than recruitment excellence
