Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Process Manager & Project Leader (m/f/d) in our Logistics & Repair Organization.Our Team and our TasksCore business of Satair is the distribution of spare parts, consumable material and tools that are required to operate, repair and maintain aircraft. Therefore Satair is having 10 warehouses globally to ensure the logistics fulfillment for our customers. In the Logistics area Satair is having a dedicated Process Team spread around the globe with team members in Washington, Singapore, Copenhagen and Hamburg. This team is setting the process strategy for all 10 warehouses and supporting the Operational Warehouse Teams plus Repair Stations in improving their operational performance by delivering spare parts to our customers on time. This team is as well supporting and running Projects to open up new warehouses or to improve existing warehouses by implementing new robots, automated systems or rolling our Lean Standards.Description of the Job:In this role you are acting as Process and Project Manager in Satair Logistics by building and adapting logistics & repair processes by integrating technologies in the domain of materials and processes (e.g. new robots and warehouse management systems). Gain Knowledge at all 10 Satair warehouses & repair stations about Process definition. Ensure end-to-end process maturity for all global logistics processes for all 10 Satair warehouses and apply continuous improvement.Evaluate process performance and identify opportunities for improvement supported by process mapping. Carry out regular process conformance checks for all global sites. Define a process aligned to external authorities and regulation requirements, company rules, methods and tools within the overall process architecture. Pro-actively improve a process within the Quality or Business management system (QMS/BMS) as a process actor. Coordinate all IT & Digital Logistics changes with the related IT departments and ensure the user acceptance tests. Establish a process driven governance in Satair Logistics to manage its warehouse, repair and transportation processes. More specifically, defining the different roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of the various process actors and the process management team. You will be as well accountable for challenging, analysing,improving and guiding relevant processes representing worldwide repair supply chain activities. You will monitor the progress on improvement actions, communicates on improvement plans and manages problem solving groups within the repair perimeter in the Satair business.By driving all of these logistical transformations we are building those on Lean Logistic, Repair & Transport improvements. Additionally we consider in all Project that logistics standards in regards of Health & Safety, Sustainability, Ethic & Compliance are being ensured and covered in our project objectives. With all needed logistics projects we are improving operational reliability and performance for our operational Teams of Logistics & RepairBeside the logistics expertise we are looking for strong skills in creating business cases and ensuring a proper Project Budgeting. As well the stakeholder management needs to be organized with all relevant stakeholders like Facility Management, Authorities, IT Department, SAP-Teams, Suppliers etc. The project alignment and Risk Management is under the lead of the Project Manager.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or similar
  • You are a strong communicator and can adjust your communication style/level to the hierarchical needs
  • You know about stakeholder management and its importance to successfully finish a project
  • Know how to create business cases and how to prepare and drive milestone/gate reviews
  • Can set-up multi-functional/transnational project teams and lead them in all project phases (including members from other functions – matrix organisation)
  • Know how to manage risks and opportunities for your projects
  • Proficient with SAP
  • Negotiation level of English and German, knowledge of French or Spanish would be a plus
  • Ideally you bring very good analytical skills and the ability of processrelated thinking
