We are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) in our Logistics & Repair Organization.Please submit your CV in English.Our Team and our TasksCore business of Satair is the distribution of spare parts, consumable material and tools that are required to operate, repair and maintain aircraft. Therefore Satair is having 10 warehouses globally to ensure the logistics fulfillment for our customers. In the Logistics area Satair is having a dedicated Industrialization and Footprint Team spread around the globe with team members in Washington, Copenhagen and Hamburg running all logistics projects of Satair. We are looking for you by acting as Project Leader for all global sites and as well as Programme Manager within our Logistics.Description of the Job:To set up a modern, high-performance and cost-effective logistics and warehouse system we have to run projects to drive continuous improvement and standardization of all 10 global warehouses, transportation and repair. You are enabling the process execution by establishing the right industrial environment by driving the space development, introducing new storage and transportation systems, defining standards of MHE and material flows for all sites. Projects which need to be run in the next years are Automated Pick Systems for Hamburg, Washington and Singapore. Implementing new “Goods to person” systems for Hamburg warehouse. On top of it the redesign of the Warehouse in Czech Republic (Prague) is foreseen. For all global warehouses a new Warehouse Management System + Transport Management System is required where strong programme management will be needed. At all we have to run projects in the area of Warehousing, Transportation and Packaging, including the support in Call for tenders for subcontracted areas. This includes as well the evaluation and forecasting of warehouse space and securing space extension by extending sites or implementing dense storage systems. Therefore we are in the position to design new warehouse layouts, planning material flows, dimensioning storage systems and leading the purchasing of those.By driving all of these logistical transformations we are building those on Lean Logistic & Transport improvements. Additionally we consider in all projects that logistics standards in regards of Health & Safety, Sustainability, Ethic & Compliance are being ensured and covered in our project objectives. With all needed logistics projects we are improving operational reliability and performance for our operational Teams of Logistics & Repair. Beside the logistics expertise we are looking for strong skills in creating business cases & Capex Requests plus ensuring a proper Project Budgeting. As well the stakeholder management needs to be organized with all relevant stakeholders like Facility Management, Authorities, IT Department, SAP-Teams, Suppliers etc. The project alignment and Risk Management for all global projects are under the lead of the Project Manager.We are looking for you to provide knowledge and expertise to set up a world class warehouse and transportation operation. Therefore you would be in charge of our logistics footprint, technical infrastructure, operational excellence with state-of-the-art technologies, efficiency gains and project ownership for all logistics/repair projects.Requirements:
