You will be responsible for the preparation, provision and oversee clean-up of lunch and snacks for young parents and their children. Other responsibilities include unloading (some lifting required) and storing properly donations and food orders, job requires cleaning in the kitchen of, including fridges, freezers, and other duties that relate to kitchen/cook work.What You #39;ll Bring to Our TeamApplicants should possess an appreciation and understanding of a range of issues including abuse, poverty, homelessness, mental illness and addictions. Applicants must possess a minimum of a Grade 12 education with some kitchen aide/cooking experience, Food Handlers Certificate, a valid C.P.R. certification (or willingness to be certified) and a demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity.
