Job Description

We are currently seeking individuals to fill laundry shifts in our Housekeeping department from 1pm until 9pm, daily.The main responsibilities of this job include:

  • Embrace the White Point Vision & Mission to exceed the expectations of our guests
  • Provide quality housekeeping services according to the standards outlined
  • Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing bedding, towels, napkins, and tablecloths
  • Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and the general laundry area
  • Report any maintenance requirements for equipment and facility
  • Report to word on time, ready to work, and in full uniform
  • Follow established security and safety procedures
  • Duties as assigned by manager
A successful candidate would meet the following requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Have WHIMS but not required as training can be provided
  • Work harmoniously with colleges and management
  • Friendly, enthusiastic individual
  • Provides exceptional guest service skills & pays attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 24-40 per weekSalary: $15.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Night shift

  • Hunts Point, NS B0T 1G0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
