You will perform tasks associated with the preparation and on-air presentation of program material on television, radio and on-line.Work is governed by CBC programming and/or journalistic policies and standards but there is some latitude for initiative and independent judgment.Key Tasks:
  • Preparation of material for broadcast in Inuktitut.
  • Translating and presenting live or recorded voice-over English and Inuktitut clips.
  • Translating, voicing-over longer pieces that are produced by local, network and by regional reporters.
  • Present Inuktitut radio newscast in the afternoons.
  • Translate and present summaries of international news.
  • Prepare and edit Inuktitut/English “phoner boards” and other graphics for television.
  • copy-edit written material for broadcast.
  • carry out general presentation and voicing of station and weather breaks, announcements, promotional and other on-air material.

  • Good organizational skills.
