You lead a team of journalists in providing our daily news content. You are responsible for ensuring that work adheres to CBC journalistic standards and practises. You play a key role in the development and mentoring of new journalists.You ensure our stories are fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful, immediate and resonate with the communities we serve. You’re innovative and will champion new story treatments and new workflows. You are keen to help create a diverse range of content on our radio, television, digital and social platforms. You’re not afraid to take creative risks, and you inspire others to do the same.You understand the diverse and changing population across our region and the importance of reflecting all our communities in our content.You live and promote an inclusive and respectful work culture.
