Job Description

Headquartered in Calgary, AB, we currently operate in six provinces and two territories, managing over 11,000 multi-residential units, 1.1 million sq. ft of commercial space, and 200 executive suites. We are proud to live, work, and play in the neighborhoods we serve, next to our residents, hotel guests and commercial tenants.We are looking for a Site Administrator to join our Residential Operations team in Iqaluit, NU. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide general support on a wide scope of administrative responsibilities and assist residents or potential residents at a local office. This position ensures that customers receive the best service possible through processes established by Northview Canadian High Yield Residential Fund.What you will do: Leasing:

  • Carry out the leasing and rental application process as per procedures in place
Execute the signing of all tenancy agreements, schedules, and addendums to the agreement. Notify all applicants of the landlords decision (approval or decline) of the rental applicationAlong with management or site staff members, be involved with residents and the company as a wholeAssist in an administrative capacity on specific tasks, which will not interfere with the timely and efficient servicing of rental inquiriesFill out and maintain a consistently accurate weekly rental traffic reportsRegularly inspect upcoming availability prior to showing same two potential residentsEnsure show suites are maintained move in ready in conditionAssist in the completion of market rent studies as determined from time to time by the regional managerUnderstand and acknowledge the competition in surrounding buildingsAdministration and Resident Relations:
  • Maintain an orderly office area
  • Execute on Take a payment and Rent Collections protocols in an effective manner
  • Facilitate and coordinate work completion in building common areas and suites via building maintenance staff and 3rd party service providers
  • Ensure building and exterior perimeter cleanliness and upkeep are maintained at all times
  • Be involved with residents and the company as a whole, along with management and site staff
  • Execute all administrative specific tasks such as maintaining logs, records, databases, etc. as related to building operations
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and public relations through all forms of communications with the residents
  • Communicate with the Regional Manager, team members, and site staff on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain goodwill of customer during service period and promote the organization to existing and potential customers
What you will bring:
  • College Diploma in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of the rental/leasing industry (min. one year experience)
  • Professional in appearance and mannerisms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient with computer software, specifically Word and Excel
  • Goal and results oriented
  • Team player
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
