If that resonates, and you’re someone with integrity, commitment, and a strong drive to deliver great products, we’d love to hear from you.Robotics SpecialistAs a Robotics specialist you will read work orders and follow production drawings and sample assemblies or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. This role involves the assembly and adjustment of various types of gears, bearings and other machined parts to complete the assembly of large complex products. Following written work instructions and procedures and working to precision fit and assembly of the prefabricated parts; to form sub-assemblies and products that require close tolerances to ensure a smooth operation. Using precision measuring instruments including faro arm, micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges and operating cranes, forklifts and adjustable tables to assist in building larger products. Responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC equipment and the operation of the hydraulic bending machine to tight specifications.Who you report to:Manager, RoboticsWhat we offerRoss offers competitive salaries and comprehensive health plans, as well as several perks to help you perform at your best.Some of these perks include flexible hours, generous paid time off, fitness/wellness allowance, employee share ownership program, development support and a ton of fun social activities and events!Best of all, you will be part of the Ross Video family, and we’ve got a pretty energizing environment here.Some of the things you will work on:Position, align and manipulate parts using problem solving skills to resolve mechanical conflicts by using shims, grinding, filing or reaming of hardware when necessary to ensure good fit or alignment within specified guidelines. This would include re-assembly and re-aligning until the proper fit or movement is achieved.Establish or adjust work procedures (working with the Manufacturing Support team) and examine products for conformance to specifications and quality standards. Demonstrate methods and provide training to workers in new product introduction (NPI) and changes in current processes. Working with our Manufacturing Support team on recommendations to improve production methods and equipment performance to enhance the quality of our products. Work with Test Development and Manufacturing Production teams and Engineering in the assembly and modification of new and existing products. Experienced in preventative maintenance and able to work in a variety of positions.
