Ledcor Employee Apply internally in Workday.DescriptionJob Summary:You are an experienced Labourer and Parts Runner with experience to support us on a potash mine project. You take pride in maintenance of production mining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working in Leroy SK. This is a long-term project which includes heavy earthworks and underground utilities installation from mass excavations, ditching, road construction and laydown development. For you, safety and quality are a priority, and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.Apply today to join the Ledcor Heavy Civil Mining team on site in SK!Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility to drive the company vehicle to and from the project to complete parts and materials pick ups from various locations in the area
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Accurately and efficiently completing pick up and deliveries within the set time frames
  • Complete records and documentation as required
  • Must keep tracking of all parts and materials picked up and the organization once returned to site
  • Keeps the company vehicle consistently clean and organized
  • Assists the crew members with daily onsite labouring tasks
  • Keeping yard and work areas, clean, tidy and free from safety hazards
  • Provides assistance to Mechanics / Fuel and Lube Technicians
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all company, client safety policies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Labourer / Parts Runner
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts, materials and tools associated with a heavy civil project is an asset
  • Lifting of heavy items will be required
  • High level of organizational skills and time management
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess valid CSTS
  • Must have a Class 5 driver license and be able to provide a clean drivers abstract
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)
Work Conditions:
  • Experienced applicants that reside in Leroy, SK or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 12-hour work days
  • Camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
  • Travel allowance provided from approved locations
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
