What will be your daily pursuit:Leading our amazing front desk team in providing our guests with top-notch service and a welcoming Jasper adventure!What perks can you expect:Work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team from around the globeSeasonal work experience in iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring locationsThe chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National ParksWhat will you do in this job:Review and verify the work of hotel front desk clerksSupervise the activities and coordinate the scheduling of the front desk teamArrange training and orientation of all new front desk team membersCoordination of front desk activities with other departmentsEnter rooming lists in the computer systemCoordinate handling of all tours and tour policiesEnsure accurate room counts are keptSubmit room forecasting and progress reportsOpen and close room availability when necessaryEffectively handle guest inquiries and complaintsLearn procedures and functions of hotel front desk clerksWhat skills and experience do you need for this job:2-5 years experience in a major hotel, one year of supervisory experience an assetAble to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplaceGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenMost tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leaderAble to work with minimal direct supervisionBasic computational abilityBasic computer skillsKnowledge of hotel computer accounting programs, such as MaestroWhat will your work environment be like:Beautiful.
