Job Description

What will you do in this job:
  • Preparing all pre-packaged quick service items including; making sandwiches, salads, parfaits and fruit cups
  • Work as a team to meet daily product demand needs for expected business volume.
  • Take pride in all food preparation ensuring all products meet our quality and presentation standards
  • Restocking and maintaining product levels to needed levels while ensuring proper stock rotation as to freshness and quality
  • Perform in a food service role on the cafeteria or buffet lines providing a warm and welcoming hospitality experience in assisting guests with suitable product choices and monitoring stock, communicating and helping change out product as needed with the kitchen
  • Ensuring that leftover food is stored properly to food safe standards and operational expectations
  • Performing daily kitchen maintenance and cleaning tasks including dishwashing duties along with garbage and recycling
  • Assisting the line cooks as assigned on any pre-prep or food production needs
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
  • General kitchen tasks as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • Mature, reliable team player with high attention to detail
  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Must be enthusiastic about hospitality, and providing warm engaging service to high volumes of guests
  • Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards

  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
