Must be currently legally intitled to work in canadaHousekeeping SupervisorJob Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor, working with the Housekeeping Manager is responsible for organizing dailyOperational plan of the housekeeping department in the business levels along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is always maintained. The Housekeeping Supervisor, assists the House keeping manager in leading the team throughout the day, helping in rooms, helping to train room attendants, and doing room quality checks once rooms are cleaned to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standard.Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications: · Previous experience setting a high standard in housekeeping.· Ability to set the example and seek the best results from all the team· The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask· Working knowledge of room’s management systems.· Knowledge of housekeeping processes and procedures.· Proven experience supervising housekeeping departments.· Proven excellence in customer service.· Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills· Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.· Activator/self-motivating to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.· Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases).· Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.· Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.· Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.Education and Formal Training: · High school diploma or GED required.· WHMIS CertificationExperience: A minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required.Duties: · Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping department to include appropriate· cleaning of all offices, seating areas, washrooms, Rooms & suites, and all public spaces.· Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest· Satisfaction within budgetary requirements.· Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff, including the day, event and post-event crews.· Maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.· Train all new housekeeping staff members to the highest standard.· Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.· Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:
