Job Description

Celebrating 62 years of BusinessWe Bring Food to Your Family’s Table!We are now hiring an Appointment Coordinator for our Baden, Ontario terminal!Shift Details: Days, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and booking all pickup and delivery appointments for customers serviced by the Baden terminal.
  • Track all LTL and TL shipments that require extra and/or accessorial charges, as well as all hold shipments.
  • Coordinating with customers, dispatch, and dock personal to ensure delivery schedules are met.
  • Ensure documentation is organized and accurate according to customer requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Investigate and communicate any problem appointments with the Dispatch Supervisor and customer service department.
  • Communicate with customers requiring a line-up of expected deliveries. Print daily appointment schedule.
  • Schedule deliveries as to volumes and weights as it pertains to Erb equipment and customers’ policies and procedures and as to HACCP regulations.
  • Work with appointment screen. Data entry, faxing and email info required for appointments. Work with movement screen; delete freight not requiring appointments.
  • Assist in answering customer inquiries such as tracing product whenever possible, as well as locating missing documentation.
  • All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent keyboarding skills and accurate with details.
  • Experience using AS400.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational skills, time management and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
