• Check off each drivers manifest against the attached proof of deliveries. Fill in manifest accurately to any shipping discrepancies or missing bills/PODs. Ensure manifest is fully prepared for the Document Control department. Photocopy all bills regarding shortages and damages.
• Ensure all loads get checked-in, create a CMP for bills not on a load.
• To understand the policies and procedures of the O.S.D department. Give drivers O.S D. numbers as required.
• To understand all aspects of the computer functions and paperwork as it relates to the O.S.D. function.
• Communicate with O.S.D. personnel and to shippers regarding shipping discrepancies. Answer incoming questions regarding O.S.D. problems with drivers and customers after 4:30 p.m.
• Enter damages, shortages or any other discrepancies from invoices into the system.
• Ensure all bills have signatures and/or BDR’s, Store Stamp, receiving stickers and monies are with each manifest.
• Send out for any missing POD’s
• Count all C.O.D. money and deposit into safe.
• Email shippers when required.
• Assist terminal data entry functions. Ensure information is accurately inputted into system.
• Write up Erb bills of lading and communicate with the dock pertaining to returns or reships.
• All other duties as required.

Who Are We Looking For

• Strong Computer skills, AS400, Truck Mate is an asset
• Knowledge of transportation industry is preferred
• Self-motivated and willing to work efficiently in a team environment
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
