Our large facility is home to more than 500 fully automated FANUC and Motoman robots. Our production processes include Robotic GMAW and resistance welders, Cold Forging, and two E-Coat paint systems. We weld, assemble and paint engine cradles, frames, sub components and service parts.This is a great opportunity for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what needs to be done to make a significant contribution in positioning a forward-thinking company to the next level of achievement.Responsibilities: As a key member in our Paint Department, you will be responsible for:

  • Problem solve paint equipment, e-coat, pre-treatment and paint process failures
  • Control and operation of waste water treatment system
  • Keep paint system operational
  • Handle waste paint and related chemicals in compliance with all environmental regulations
  • Adhere to IATF 16949 and ISO14001 policies and procedures
  • Modify / maintain paint equipment in order to improve current equipment performance
  • Design paint racks for new products
  • Participate in Preventative Maintenance process and procedures
  • Communicate with production to ensure customer requirements are being met
  • Manage paint supplies inventory, perform work safely and ensure safe work environment
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain 5S methodology
  • Perform all SST requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: To be considered for the job, you should have the following credentials:
  • Previous e-coat and pre-treatment experience
  • Environmental regulatory compliance Proven trouble shooting and problem solving experience
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work short notice overtime and weekends
  • Excellent organizational skills
